Inspired by the antique patina created from generations of use, our Lagniappe finish is truly one of a kind. Each Lagniappe exterior is crafted by hand to mimic the texture, color and richness found in antique . Each Lagniappe item is singularly unique and signed by the artist.

Process: Achieved by layering color and texture by hand, each trompe l’oeil finish takes a single artisan a minimum of eight hours. Available in four colorways, each Lagniappe piece will vary somewhat from the listing photo but Traditionally a patina like Lagniappe would require a century of heavy use, which would leave the porcelain ravaged. The Lagniappe finish offers the exterior of an antique with a pristine, new porcelain interior.

White/Degas Blue. A base of deep cobalt is layered varying shades of lighter blue and accents of sharp red. The overall color composition is reminiscent of Degas’s Dancers in Blue paintings. Flecks of gold are in stark relief against the complex, multidimensional blues.
